About Us

We started because Katrina showed us what real construction looked like—fixing homes that mattered, with people who cared.

The Beginning

After Katrina, my grandfather and I started fixing homes. Not as a business plan. As a necessity. Families needed their houses back. We had skills and hands that could work. So we worked. Those early jobs taught me something no classroom ever could: construction isn't about hitting deadlines or maximizing margins. It's about someone's roof not leaking. Someone's foundation being solid. Someone being able to sleep without worrying.

I've been in construction my entire life. That time after Katrina, working alongside my grandfather on homes that actually mattered, crystallized what I wanted to build. Not just a company that could do carpentry, electrical, plumbing, foundation work—everything from dirt to roof. But one where you knew the person fixing your home cared about getting it right.

That's what we became. A locally owned, veteran-owned business that specializes in insurance claims. We handle the work the big firms handle, but we do it like we're fixing our own families' homes.

What We've Learned

Locally owned means something. We show up to jobs in our hometown. Our reputation walks into the room before we do. Clients aren't strangers—they're neighbors. That changes everything about how you work. A big contractor might cut corners because the homeowner won't call back. We cut corners zero times because that homeowner will see us at the grocery store.

Being veteran-owned means we understand discipline, planning, and showing up. We also understand that things don't always go to plan. Insurance claims are messy. Damage assessments disagree. Contractors fall through. We stay calm and methodical because we've handled complexity before. That steadiness is something families feel immediately.

Insurance claim specialists—this became our focus because we kept seeing homeowners get lost in the process. Contractors quote one number. Insurance estimates another. The gap becomes the homeowner's problem. We learned to bridge that gap because we've been on both sides. We speak both languages. That expertise saves families money and stress when they're already dealing with enough.

And being able to do everything—foundation work, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, roofing—means you're not handing off to five different contractors. You're not playing phone tag or waiting for someone else's schedule. One team. One accountability. One person you call.

Working With Us

You'll notice we show up on time and we explain what we're doing. You won't get corporate speak or insurance jargon. You'll get straightforward assessments, realistic timelines, and honest conversations about what needs to happen next. We handle the insurance side—the claims navigation, the paperwork, the contractor coordination. You focus on your family.

If you've had damage and insurance is involved, call us. We've handled thousands of claims. We know what questions to ask and what protections exist. We're small enough to care about your specific situation and experienced enough to know how to solve it. That's the combination my grandfather taught me was worth building on.
